A hunt at Briarwood offers the opportunity to harvest some of the largest Whitetail deer in North America. Experienced guides provide one-on-one advice and tailor the hunt to each individual. Years of detailed research, strict deer management, and Briarwood’s own on-site breeding facility ensure the land is abundant with genetically superior deer.

Briarwood provides the perfect environment for hunters to enjoy a three-day, fully guided one-on-one hunt for trophy Whitetail. Our guides have several years’ experience taking Whitetail hunters afield in many states across North America. Rifle, muzzle loader, and bow hunters are welcome.

Whitetail hunts take place Mid-September through Mid-January and include meals, beverages, accommodations, and field preparation. Relax in the largest of our three rustic lodges, located on its own private lake. Private lodging can be arranged and we welcome non-hunters at an additional daily rate.

Over 80 acres of food plots provide amazing opportunities to harvest a huge Whitetail at close range. Choose your perfect vantage point in an elevated blind, or stalk your ideal buck for a true face-to-face encounter with nature. Current year trail cam data and extensive scouting are used to ensure that stands are placed in perfect locations.

Briarwood is known for big deer, first class accommodations, and Midwestern hospitality. Hunters will enjoy a rustic lake front lodge equipped with WiFi, DirecTV, and all the necessities to make them feel at home.

A hunt at Briarwood includes field dressing your harvest and we can cape your animal at no extra charge. We will deliver your meat to a local processor and taxidermist if you so desire. We can also take care of shipping your trophy directly to you.

Truly unique among sporting clubs, Briarwood offers the experience of both world class fly-fishing and trophy Whitetail hunting. Hunters will also have access to our many spring fed trout streams as well as 16 different lakes and ponds stocked with Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Perch, Catfish and Walleye.

We are far more concerned with providing quality hunts than massing a quantity of hunters, so availability is limited!

All preserve hunts are booked for three days and will include 1-1 guide service, accommodations, meals, beverages, on site transportation, field preparation, and transportation of trophies to local meat processor/taxidermist. Transportation to and from the Columbus International Airport (61 miles) or Dayton International Airport (59 miles) can be arranged for a nominal fee. Non-residents do not require a hunting license. Non-hunting guests are welcome at $150/day. Deer hunting season runs from Mid-September through Mid-January. Rifle, bow and muzzle loader hunters are welcome. Prices do not include 7.25% Ohio State Sales Tax.

Our hunts are not guaranteed. If a hunter is unsuccessful, we will retain $1,000 of the deposit, which will be applied towards your next hunt. If a hunter draws blood and wounds an animal, all fees will be collected for that hunt.

Advance reservations with a $1,000 non-refundable deposit are required to confirm bookings for all hunts, and the balance is due upon completion of hunt.

Deposits and final payments are non-refundable unless canceling client finds a replacement. If Briarwood Sporting Club Inc. finds a replacement, a $1,000 rebooking fee plus any discounts given to replacement hunter will be deducted from original deposits and balances paid. These monies are then transferable to another hunt date.

While we will do everything within our power to retrieve a wounded animal, this is still considered a harvested animal. If the animal is found dead at a later date, the antlers will be sent to you.
